He has resided in Soest, Dortmund and Berlin and now lives in Cologne. After attending a German Hauptschule, König completed an apprenticeship, learning the trade of a joiner.

It was directed by Martin Walz and featured Jörg Buttgereit as its special effects coordinator and H.R. Giger as a creative consultant.
